I am glad the new season of fall shows are upon us. But now I have a debate with some friends on which of the three Seth MacFarlane shows are better. Family Guy will always be the “Original” but for me it seems American Dad has taken over as the funnier of the two (I know the Cleveland Show premiered last week but I cannot compare just yet). Speaking of the Clevland Show…what is with the bear? I guess this falls in line with all of Seth MacFarlane’s shows. a Dog, a Alien, now a Bear. I saw an interview with Seth MacFarlane once. He is a very sick man but what made me laugh was when he himself interviewed people who didnt like the show and asked them about the creater. That had me cracking up. Are these shows crude, rude, and inappropriate for my children…yes. But making fun of everyone is just too funny.
I think that south park did a good job of making fun of Seth MacFarlane’s writing skills. I’ve lost interest in his shows, because once the shock value is warn off, most of the jokes just are not at all funny.
